The federal executive council meeting scheduled for wednesday 6/9/2017 has been cancelled. In a twitter message the Govt of Nigeria tweeted thus:
STATEMENT: This week's Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting will not hold. 2-day public holiday
left no time to prepare for the meeting. pic.twitter.com/LnvE1feFHK

Other excuses and reasons previously given for cancellation of FEC Meetings included -that “the state house printer was down”, “that Buhari was to receive report on corruption investigation on SGF and Director of Nigeria intelligence agency”, and “it is not compulsory to have FEC meetings”.
However, analysts have linked such cancellations to the fact that all is still not well with President Buhari’s health.
